July 22-27, 2020 (Iliamna to Iliamna):

The Alaska Katmai Backcountry Workshop includes either seven or six days exploring the Alaska Peninsula. Whether sunshine, rain, or snow, plan on exploring world-class vistas of Katmai and Lake Clark National Parks and coastal areas. Accepting up to five participants in the workshop.

Deposit & Payments: A 50% deposit is due upfront to secure your slot. Full payment is required 60 days prior to the workshop (May 22, 2020). You also have the option to pay 100% upfront.

Cancellation Policy: If you must cancel participation in a workshop, a full refund is available if cancellation is made within 24 hours of purchase. Cancellations received 6+ months prior to the workshop (January 21, 2020) will receive 75% refund. Cancellations 90+ days prior to the workshop (April 22, 2020) will receive 50% refund. Cancellations received less than 90 days prior to workshop will forfeit all fees; however Wilderness Photo Workshops may choose at its discretion to apply some of the amount paid to a future workshop. In the unlikely event the workshop is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive the choice of a 100% refund or credit for a future workshop.

Travel Insurance: We highly recommend you have a travel insurance policy. Airline changes? Weather problems? Vehicle problems? You never know. At a minimum travel insurance provides peace of mind.

Equipment insurance: The wilderness is brutal on camera equipment. We recommend you maintain adequate equipment coverage.

Emergency medical evacuation insurance: The wilderness has many hazards. Have the peace of mind by signing up for an insurance plan suited for your needs.
